K&H Glass Options

K&H has a variety of glass options to cover your needs.  Whether you are looking for the most efficient glass package available or wanting the best glass value to meet your budget.  Our glass packages include the following:

  • Clear Glass - includes double pane insulated glass unit (IGU) without any type of Energy Saving coatings.  This glass package is not Energy Star Rated and does not qualify for the Energy Tax Credit.  K&H is not offering any windows with Clear Glass.
  • E.S. (Energy Saving) Glass - includes double pane, double strength, insulating glass with High Performance Low-E2 coating and Argon Gas inside the IGU.  This glass package is Energy Star Rated but may not qualify for the Energy Tax Credit.  Available on Ultra Seal 1 Windows, Patio Doors and Casements. 
  • H.P. (Hi Performance) Glass -  includes double pane, double strength, insulating glass with our Highest Performance Low-E3 coating and Argon Gas.  This is a special proprietary glass package assembled for K&H by our window manufacturers for maximum value in energy efficient glass technology.  This glass package is Energy Star Rated and qualifies for teh Energy Tax Credit.  Available on Ultra Seal 1 and Ultra Seal 2 Windows, Patio Doors and Casements.
  • 3G (Triple Pane Argon) Glass - includes three panes of double strength glass with Low-E2 coating on 2 surfaces and Argon Gas in a one inch IGU.  This glass packages are Energy Star Rated and qualifies for the Energy Tax Credit.  It is only available on Ultra Seal 2 Windows, Patio Doors and Casements.  Not available on Ultra Seal 1 Windows.
  • 272 Glass - includes double pane, double strength glass with High Peformance 272 Low-E2 coating and Argon Gas inside the IGU.  Thi glass package is Energy Star Rated but may not qualify for the Energy Tax Credit.  Available on the Atrium Series 200, Series 300 Windows, Doors and Casements only.
  • 366 Glass - includes double pane, double strength glass with High Performance 366 Low-E coating and Argon Gas inside the IGU.  This glass package is Energy Star Rated and qualifies for the Energy Tax Credit.  Available on the Atrium Series 200, Series 300 Windows, Doors and Casements only.
